 DAY 01 - AIRPORT – NEGOMBO


Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport. You will be met with and welcomed by CYRIL TOURS representative upon your arrival and transferred to hotel in  Negombo located near the airport for overnight stay. Negombo just 20 minutes from the airport.

DAY 02 - NEGOMBO – ANURADHAPURA

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, it's time to check out and proceed to Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey to Anuradhapura takes you through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the country, including rolling hills, lush forests, and picturesque villages.

En route, you have the option of visiting the Wilpattu national park.(Optional). one of Sri Lanka's largest national parks and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. The park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of bird species. A jeep safari through the park is a thrilling experience, offering the opportunity to spot some of Sri Lanka's most iconic wildlife in their natural habitat.

Even if you choose not to visit Wilpattu, the drive to Anuradhapura is still a treat, as it takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. As you approach the ancient city, you'll be struck by the grandeur and scale of the ancient ruins, which testify to the power and glory of this once-great kingdom.

DAY 03 - ANURADHAPURA – MIHINTALE – TRINCOMALEE

Embark on a journey through the ancient cities of Sri Lanka, starting with a visit to Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the country's most important historical sites. After a hearty breakfast, it's time to check out of your accommodation and set out on your adventure.

Marvel at the magnificent ruins of Anuradhapura, which was once the capital of Sri Lanka and home to a series of ancient temples, stupas, and palaces. Explore the well-preserved structures and learn about the rich history and culture of this fascinating region.

Next, head to Mihintale, the birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, and discover the ancient temples, rock inscriptions, and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. As you climb the hill, you will be greeted by a breathtaking panorama of the countryside and the stunning sunset.

DAY 04 - LEISURE


Start your day off with an early breakfast and an exciting adventure to visit dolphins! You'll need to be up early, as we have to be near the boat at 6.00am to catch these playful creatures in action. The experience is truly magical and one you won't forget.

After the dolphin watching, we'll take you to Pigeon Island, a famous island near Trincomalee, for some snorkeling. With crystal clear waters, you'll be amazed at the variety of colorful fish and marine life that call this area home.

If you work up an appetite, we can arrange a delicious seafood lunch for you to enjoy on the island. Don't hesitate to ask your guide for assistance with any of these activities - they're there to help make your experience unforgettable.

In the evening, we'll take you to explore Trincomalee city, including the iconic Fort Fredrick and the stunning Koneshwaram Hindu temple. Fort Fredrick is a must-see for history buffs, as it is steeped in colonial history, while the Koneshwaram Hindu temple is an architectural marvel, with intricate carvings and stunning ocean views.

DAY 05 - TRINCOMALEE – PASIKUDAH


After indulging in a delicious breakfast at your hotel, it's time to check out and head to the beautiful coastal town of Pasikudah. This area is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and luxurious beach hotels that offer world-class amenities and services.

As you make your way to Pasikudah, take in the stunning scenery that surrounds you. The drive will take you past picturesque villages and lush green landscapes, offering a glimpse into the beauty of Sri Lanka.

DAY 06 - LEISURE in Pasikudah

DAY 07 - PASIKUDAH - HABARANA / DAMBULLA / SIGIRIYA

After breakfast checkout from the hotel to proceed to Habarana. Checking to Cinnamon lodge for dinner and overnights stay.

DAY 08 -  SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA


Breakfast in the hotel and leave to visit to Sigiriya the “The Lion Mountain” in the morning. Sigiriya present a unique concentration of fifth- century urban planning, gardening, engineering, hydraulic technology and art. In 470 AD Kashyapa the son of a non-royal consort of the king, took over the kingdom after committing patricide. He built his magnificent palace on the top of this 200meters high rock fearing the wrath of the crown prince MoghallanaThe architectural wonder is famous for pleasure gardens, extensive moats and ramparts and mainly it’s well-preserved rock paintings, of the beautiful “Cloud damsels” seen half up the rock and the “Lion stairway” that provides access to the summit. The complex of the fortress on the plains around the rock extends over 15 hectares. On completion proceed to Polonnaruwa                

Polonnaruwa the Medieval Kingdom from the 11th to 13th century. The great ruler King Parakramabahu 1st (1153-1186) reign was the highest peak of the agricultural development of the island with the subtitle of “Granary of the East” with the development of a vast and complex irrigation systems connected to “Sea of Parakramabahu”, the largest reservoir builds in the history of Sri Lanka. Ethnic harmony prevailed between the Sinhalese and the Tamils during this period. Buddhist and the Hindu temples located in the same complex and many other ruins symbolizes this fact. The palaces, huge granite sculptures and the massive tanks and complex irrigation systems built by the great kings convey the extent of development that existed in this middle history period. On the way back to hotel visit Enroute visit Medirigiriya Vatadage. End of the day return to hotel dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 09 - LEISURE in Habarana / Dambulla / Sigiriya


Today is a leisure day for you.

Habarana is a picturesque village located in the heart of Sri Lanka, surrounded by lush green forests, serene lakes, and wildlife reserves. This beautiful village offers a unique blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation, making it an ideal destination for leisure travelers. Here are some of the top activities that you can enjoy in Habarana: Please note  for these optional activities  you have to pay separatly. Contact your guidein the morning for assistance. Because it has to resrve in advance.

Village tour: Take a leisurely stroll through the local village and get a glimpse of the traditional way of life of the locals. You can visit a local farm, see how rice is cultivated, and experience the daily routine of the villagers. This is a great opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their culture and customs.

Elephant ride: Experience the thrill of riding an elephant through the jungle and across the tranquil lakes of Habarana. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you cannot miss.

Minneriya safari : Take a hired 4x4 vehicle and head to the Minneriya National Park to witness a spectacular gathering of elephants. This is the largest gathering of elephants in the world, and it is a breathtaking sight to see these majestic creatures up close.

Ayurveda herbal massage: Indulge in a traditional Ayurveda herbal massage, which is done by well-experienced therapists. This massage uses only natural herbs and oils, and it is a great way to rejuvenate your body and mind.

Local Dance Performance: In the late afternoon, head to the town and witness a local dance performance. The performers will showcase traditional upcountry dances and fire-walking, which is an exciting and mesmerizing experience.

DAY 10 - HABARANA – DAMBULLA - KANDY


After breakfast, you will start your journey towards Kandy. Enroute, you will visit the famous Dambulla Golden Rock Cave Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple is renowned for its stunning Buddhist murals and sculptures, and it is one of the largest cave temples in Sri Lanka. You will also have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape from the top of the temple complex.

Next, you will visit the Spice and Herbal Garden in Matale, where you will learn about Sri Lanka's rich history of spice cultivation and herbal medicine. You will have the opportunity to see and smell various spices and herbs such as cinnamon, cardamom, and turmeric, and you'll also learn about their medicinal properties.

After your visit to the Spice and Herbal Garden, you'll continue your journey to the beautiful city of Kandy. Here, you'll check in to the luxurious Cinnamon Citadel hotel, where you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

The hotel is situated on the banks of the Mahaweli River, and it is surrounded by lush greenery, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of travel.

DAY 11 - KANDY – PINNAWALA – KANDY


After breakfast, you will leave for Pinnawala elephant orphanage, which is approximately a one-hour or hour and half drive from your hotel. Here, you will witness the baby elephants being fed and taking the herd to the river for bathing. You'll have the opportunity to watch these magnificent creatures up close and personal.

After the orphanage, you will continue back to Kandy, Sri Lanka's cultural capital. En route, you will visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, which is home to over 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, and medicinal plants. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka's flora.

Upon arrival in Kandy, you will have a guided city tour, where you can explore the rich cultural heritage of this city. You'll see famous landmarks such as the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is one of the most sacred places of worship for Buddhists all around the world also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and watch the traditional rituals performed daily by the religious dignitaries of the temple in keeping with the cultural heritage of the country.

Finally, at the end of the day, you will check-in at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 12 - KANADY – NUWARAELIYA


After enjoying breakfast, we will proceed towards Nuwara Eliya, also known as "little England" due to its picturesque beauty resembling that of a typical English countryside. En route, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a brief train ride, subject to availability, while your vehicle travels ahead to pick you up from a predetermined railway station. This optional activity requires a reservation of seats one month in advance, and confirmation at least six weeks prior to the tour.

Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, we will visit a factory to learn about the tea-growing and processing methods that have made Sri Lanka one of the world's foremost tea exporters. Afterward, we will check into Grand Hotel, situated 1900 meters above sea level, to enjoy a cool and comfortable overnight stay with dinner provided.

In the evening, you are free to explore the charming city of Nuwara Eliya at your own leisure.

Nuwara Eliya meaning "City on the plain (table land)" or "city of light", is a town in the central highlands of Sri Lanka with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. It is located at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for Tea production in Sri Lanka. The town is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka.

DAY 13 - NUWARAELIYA - HORTON PLAINS - NUWARAELIYA


If you willing to visit Horton Planes, you must inform to hotel reception on the previous night with time of departure to prepare your packeted breakfast. Because you have to leave the hotel around 5 am. 

Early morning visit Horton Plains by car, van or jeep. They are best viewed at sunrise as the mist is less likely to spoil the view at that time of day. A road journey and the 2 – 3-hour work passes through heartland with giant ferns, terraced vegetable gardens and tropical, mist – shrouded forest, where tree branches poke sky wards like gnarled fingers You reach big world’s end after a 5km walk from the entrance. The view from the sheer 1000m (3300-ft) drop is awesome. With luck there will be no mist to impede the panorama over the plains. Baker’s fall is one of the most interesting places during this tour. This walk will take around 3 - 4 hours. This ls really interesting place for nature lovers.

End of the trek return to hotel in Nuwaraeliya.

DAY 14 - NUWARAELIYA – KITULGALA – COLOMBO


After breakfast, we will checkout from the hotel and proceed to Colombo via Kithulgala.

The journey from the hills to Colombo is a feast for the eyes, with breathtaking views of tea plantations and a few stunning waterfalls. You'll have plenty of opportunities to capture some memorable moments and take in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka.

For adventure seekers, we can arrange for an exciting white water rafting experience in Kithulgala. This activity is a must-try for anyone who wants to feel the thrill of rushing down the rapids and experiencing the power of nature.

On completion of the white water rafting or exploring Kithulgala, we will continue our journey to Colombo. As we approach the city, you'll notice a stark contrast in the landscape, as the lush greenery gives way to urban hustle and bustle. However, the journey will be no less scenic, as we drive past charming towns and villages.

DAY 15 - COLOMBO - AIRPORT
