W15 located on Sri Lanka's picturesque south coast. W15 is a ten individually-designed rooms, boutique hotel with a princely aspect on Weligama Bay. Its striking appearance is hard to miss. Showcasing a unique sense of style, W15 is the newest kid on the shore. Offering ten, the hotel caters to those who seek style and luxury whilst enjoying the surroundings of tropical sun and sea.

W15 is a perfect combination of modern architecture, minimalist design and the traditional Sri Lankan concept of open-air spaces. From the funky open-air deck fitted with red sunbeds, to the contemporary restaurant, to the surround-sound system that covers the entire area, every aspect of this boutique hotel embraces diverse design.

Unlike other hotels, W15 doesn’t have a designated reception area: they handle check-ins at the convenience of their guests, whether it’s in the lounge or in their room. The entrance has an unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean and is only a couple of steps from the sandy shoreline.

The ten rooms at W15 are categorized into four types: one Standard room, four Superior rooms, four Ocean View Deluxe rooms and one Executive Suite. All rooms are individually designed, furnished with eclectic hand-picked pieces, and are complete with a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with hot and cold water, a flat screen TV, A/C and a fan, a minibar, an electric safe and coffee/tea making amenities. The rooms are also equipped with a Geneva Bluetooth speaker that can connect to iPods/iPads wirelessly and play music of your choice.

The ideal location of Weligama makes it a great starting point for excursions along the south and west coast as well as for exploration of the national parks. Whales watching in Mirissa, Surfing, Scuba diving lessons etc.
